#DESKO VOL. 1 – INTRODUCING
Volume 1 is how it all started, a handful of mostly fun playful and danceable songs in styles favoured in the past by artists such as Boney M, Lipps Inc, Village People to British acts such as Wham and Soft Cell. Early 2023, I kept asking myself what had happened to the ‘fun times’ we had before Covid and the lockdowns, the idea was born there and then, the launch of #DESKO, newly written Disco songs to bring back the ‘fun’ with all allowed to be together again. The songs from Volume 1 proved to be very succesful in a series of live shows where I went to test them against live audiences ( and where appropriate… a very lively dancefloor).
